Google Chrome

I definitely prefer Google Chrome to Safari . It’s so much easier to use. In my opinion Safari doesn’t take you to or even look up quite what you were looking for without having to reword the question 2 or three times and when you’re moving along at a steady pace that’s the last thing you need is a browser that almost seems to be lagging. The two things I missed the most when I started using my iPhone was
Google Chrome , Google and Google play store. Those three are most definitely the best and Apples Safari does mot compare. Thank Goodness you can use Google or Google Chrome as your default browser with an iPhone or that would have became a deal breaker. Undoubtedly the best browser to ever use.

Counterintuitive and unproductive!!

I really wanted to like the Chrome app for iOS but it turned out to be counter productive. I use a lot of other Google apps over Apple (notable Gmail and Google Maps) and after a lot of prompting from those apps to use Chrome when pushing to Safari, I decided to give it a try. After a month of Chrome usage, the app options, gestures, buttons are counterintuitive and slow. For example, I understand some people like to close their browsing session after but I never do- sure, have a close all button but why is it displayed so prominently in the app start. I have pressed it accidentally so many times and closed out my plethora of tabs which is really annoying. There’s no way to recover them if you open a new tab. There’s no option for opening tabs in background, quick new tab from a current tab just to name a few others. Page loading is slowing and constantly reloads instead of saving page data. The iOS Chrome app needs a major refresh and update before I use it again. But right now it is counterintuitive, inefficient, and unproductive.

App getting worse and not listening to the community

I honestly switched to this from safari cause the middle search bar button allowed you to type on the search bar a lot easier. Now it's a new tab button, the community has expressed time and time again about how stupid this is and it has made reaching the search bar at the top hard especially on bigger phones. Despite the fanfare, the team working on this app has never done anything to solve this issue and my experience with this app has been going down ever since. As of now I'll stop using this app and new features that they push out for this app has negligible gain while they don't solve the issues that users feedback. I don't want to use a product where the team doesn't listen to their community and do what they want to do instead of what consumers want. I have feedback this issue time and time again on their support page to no constructive response so it's finally time I switch to other browsers like Firefox with the search bar at the bottom.
